OUR STORY

Since 1982, the Millmerran Arts Council has delivered a variety of arts initiatives and events to the community of Millmerran and surrounds. From art installations, art classes and workshops, to local artist exhibitions, live concerts and performances. Hundreds of Arts Council members, volunteer committee members as well as supporters like the Doug Hall Foundation have enabled the Millmerran Arts Council to become one of the longest serving regional arts councils in Queensland. Photos of past exhibitions, workshops and love performance events are posted on our Facebook page.

We encourage support of the Arts in Millmerran via Millmerran Arts Council membership. A yearly family membership is $20 and provides discounts for selected workshops and events throughout the year. Please send us a direct message if you wish to become a member.

We stage exhibitions in the Kenneth Macqueen foyer gallery at the Millmerran Library (open Tue, Thu and Fri) to promote talented locals artists as well as invited artisans from across the Toowoomba region and Southern Downs. Exhibition items are often on sale, so if you're looking to purchase some beautiful artwork and support our local artists please visit the Library exhibition.
